Just added: Nathan Salsburg
Nathan Salsburg will open for Daniel Martin Moore and Joan Shelley, Saturday, August 11. (See Salsburg on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series.) Salsburg has worked for the Alan Lomax Archive for twelve years as a curator, archivist, and editor of its digital catalogs. Since 2006 he has produced and hosted the online radio show “Root Hog Or Die” and he curates the Twos & Fews label, a vernacular music imprint of Chicago’s Drag City label. Salsburg maintains an index of online traditional/vernacular music resources at his blog, roothogordie.wordpress.com. He is also a guitarist, releasing in 2011 an album of acoustic duets with Chicago guitarist James Elkington called “Avos” (Tompkins Square) and a solo guitar record entitled “Affirmed” (No Quarter).
