Ever wanted to achieve that Norman Rockwell style Thanksgiving bliss with your family? Well, the Lundeen family can’t even get close. The Pocahontas County Drama workshop presents “A Nice Family Gathering” by Phil Olson for its Spring production where the recently deceased patriarch keeps showing up and asking for favors. Mom is slipping into dementia and has invited a date. The beloved daughter-in-law is loopy on fertility drugs while her husband is trying to weasel his way out of debt. But it is the quiet sometimes forgotten daughter who delivers the walloping revelation that will make or break the family bond. “ A Nice Family Gathering,” directed by Margaret Baker, will be performed on May 18th and 19th at the Opera House in Marlinton at 8:00 PM. Tickets for the performance are $8.00 available only at the door.
